Message from the Principal
Dear Wagner Families and Community Members:
At Samuel L. Wagner Middle School we are committed to providing educational experiences which challenge students to achieve individual success. We welcome you to be a part of this exciting time when students value new academic endeavors, collaborative groups, plenty of physical activity and time with peers as building blocks for their academic and developmental pursuits. We seek to create an environment at Wagner that values character and the growth of personal identity. We celebrate and foster Wagner Pride through the values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Compassion. Join us for a partnership between home, school and community as we strive to promote positive academic achievement and social milestones among our student body.
At Wagner we are committed to supporting student achievement for our students to ensure they are on the path to success. We are confident that, with the quality instruction delivered by our dedicated teachers, and your support, our students can meet or exceed expectations. Please contact me at anytime if you have questions about our school.
I would like to congratulate our 8th Grade Class of 2016 (pictured above) for exemplifying the qualities of “Wagner Pride” during our annual Boston Trip. These students represented our school and communities admirably. They make us all proud of their academic accomplishment and social growth during their middle school years.
With Wagner Pride,
Richard E. Glencross, Ed. D.
