Dear Grade 8 Parents/Guardians,
It hardly seems possible but your once young children are growing up and will soon be leaving the friendly confines of Wagner Middle School. We are going to miss them, but they are eager and excited about their future as they prepare to begin their high school years. The following is the basic schedule of events for the rest of the year and some general information that hopefully you will find helpful.

5:15 Depart Wagner
7:45 Breakfast at Kennebunk rest stop
10:00 Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall
12:00 New England Aquarium
2:00 Leave Boston
3:00 Arrive at Canobie Lake Amusement Park
7:00 Depart Canobie Lake Park
9:00 Snack and bathroom break at Kennebunk rest stop
11:30P.M. Arrive at Wagner
Students will be allowed to use their cell phones to let parents know our exact return time or if complications cause a delay. It is not necessary for students to bring in money for the entertainment of the day. However, students should bring money for food (3 meals), souvenirs and gifts. No one should have more than $75 with them unless prior arrangements have been made between home and school. Drinks and snacks will be provided. Students should bring comfortable clothes, walking shoes, and a light jacket or sweater (a change of clothes is recommended). iPods are permitted, with headphones. If finances become a problem, please let Dr. Glencross know. It should be a great day!
June 14 – Recognition Ceremony at 7:00 P.M. in the Wagner gym. Students are encouraged to dress in their nicest clothes. We do not want parents to buy expensive gowns or rent tuxedos for the event, so that costs are low.
We look forward to the end of the year and the fun events planned. We appreciate your support throughout this process. Please feel free to call the school if you have any questions.
